Activity for You...💭

The following is a text on the water cycle, read and identify the declarative sentences

The Water Cycle💦

The water cycle is a continuous process that describes how water moves through the Earth's ecosystems. It starts with the evaporation of water from oceans, lakes, and rivers. The sun's heat causes the water to turn into vapor, which rises into the atmosphere.

As the vapor rises, it cools and condenses into tiny water droplets, forming clouds. When the clouds become heavy with moisture, the water droplets combine and fall to the ground as precipitation. This can be in the form of rain, snow, or sleet.

Once the precipitation reaches the ground, it can follow different paths. Some of it flows into rivers and streams, eventually making its way back to the oceans. Some of it is absorbed into the soil, providing water for plants and trees. This process is known as infiltration.

The water that is absorbed by plants is released into the air through a process called transpiration. Plants release water vapor into the atmosphere through tiny pores in their leaves.

The water cycle plays a crucial role in maintaining the Earth's water balance. It ensures that water is constantly being recycled and redistributed, supporting life on our planet.
